October 25, 2018 @ 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Free

You are invited to a panel discussion on: Building Care Teams for Population Health

Thursday, October 25, 2018

Fairview Range Regional Health Services

3605 Mayfair Ave, Hibbing, MN 55746

Overview

The healthcare environment is changing to value-based models of care and payment. Provider organizations are adapting their talent management to meet this emerging need. Population health impacts recruitment and retention for new care models as well as succession planning for the identification and training of candidates for managerial or leadership positions that are engaged in population health. Talent management and succession planning enable an organization to meet its needs for new positions, teams, and leadership by assessing the competencies required for key positions, nurturing and developing the talents needed to fill those positions, and implementing procedures and protocols for replacement when it becomes necessary.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn about types of value-based care models impacting healthcare organizational talent management

  2. Discover assessment methods to identify current and emerging talent needs

  3. Addressing professional or operational issues with care teams

  4. Hear how regional healthcare leaders have developed recruitment, retention and succession plans for value-based teams
