Adaptive Resilient Healthcare Leadership: Lessons From Improv on How to Make the Most of Any Situation

May 29, 2020 @ 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

A free webinar brought to you by ACHE MN!

Adaptability, resilience, and collaboration have taken on new meaning and importance in the era of COVID-19. Healthcare professionals are challenged to lead, flex, and work together like never before.

Tane Danger is a civic leader, speaker, and improv comedy performer. For more than a decade, he has been helping leaders and organizations learn to be more adaptable and resilient in a unique way: by sharing tools from the world of improv theater. Improv teaches you how to make the most of any situation, how to be comfortable and proactive in the unknown, and how to say “Yes, and…” to opportunities and challenges.

In this virtual session, Tane will share some of the tools improvisers use to turn hurdles into stepping stones toward something new and exciting. We will look at ways to practice leadership and collaboration in uncertain times from the improv mindset. And we will have a chance to share some best practices from our own work where being flexible and creative has created something unexpected and great.

Absolutely NO improv or performance or arts training or background is necessary for this workshop. You WILL NOT be put on the spot. This session is designed for anyone to feel comfortable and learn some new skills.

Approved for 1.0 ACHE Qualified Education credit (must self-report).
