AI is everywhere, but what’s actually working in practice? We’ll cut  through the hype to showcase how organizations are applying AI today to drive meaningful outcomes. The event will feature short, practical case studies highlighting real implementations and lessons learned, followed by an interactive panel discussion with leaders on what it truly takes to move from experimentation to impact. The program will conclude with a capstone session that looks ahead at what’s next for AI and how organizations can prepare for what’s coming.

Bios:

Dr. Brita Hansen serves as Vice President of Medical Informatics and Artificial Intelligence at Allina Health. Board certified in internal medicine and a Diplomate in Clinical Informatics, she is an accomplished physician leader with more than a decade of senior and executive leadership experience across provider organizations, industry, and health plan settings. Prior to Allina Health, Dr. Hansen held roles including Chief Health Information Officer at Hennepin Healthcare and Medical Director at UCare. Dr. Hansen earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota, her MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University.

Amy Porwoll serves as the Chief Information Officer at CentraCare Health System. She has served in the role since 2011 and played numerous roles at CentraCare since joining in 1994. She serves as an executive member of the Minnesota Epic Users Group. Prior to joining CentraCare, she worked for IBM in Rochester. She is a recipient of the ORBIE Award for Enterprise CIO. Ms. Porwoll graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in business computer information Systems.

Zach Bork serves as Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer at CentraCare Health System since 2025. He joined CentraCare in 2026 and previously served in roles including Vice President of Enterprise Analytics and Transformation, Executive Director of Transformation Management, and Executive Director of Behavioral Health and Ambulatory Specialties. Before joining CentraCare, Mr. Bork managed specialty clinics at North Memorial.  He earned is Master’s in Health Care Administration at the University of Minnesota and his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the University of St. Thomas.

John Coyle is a Senior Partner and Digital and AI Strategy Practice Leader at Chartis. With a 30+ year consulting career, John has driven change and impact for the healthcare industry. He co-leads Chartis’ Center for AI and Digital. Before joining Chartis, he served as a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal and Boston Consulting Group. He also has previous experience at Oliver Wyman Health and Life Sciences and Accenture. John attended the Kellogg School of Management-Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Science, with Distinction, in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
