Join us for networking and an evening seminar discussing big data and analytics.  John Olson, Ph.D., professor in the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department will present on a current research topic, “The Intersection of Analytics, Process Improvement, and Clinical Quality Management – what is the recipe for success?”

Objectives:


1.      Understand how Analytics, Process Improvement and Clinical Quality is currently managed in health systems.


2.      Understand how these factors can work effectively together.


3.      Learn how to develop and implement quality programs in health systems.




Presenter:  John R. Olson, Ph.D.


Dr. Olson teaches in the undergraduate, graduate and professional programs in the Opus College of Business. His teaching focus has been on helping both students and companies implement effective quality management programs and making better decisions using data. Prior to teaching at the University of St Thomas, he was a faculty member in the Department of Management at DePaul University, where he won the department of management teaching award.
