Our location for the evening is the beautiful Maple Grove Hospital Campus which opened in late 2009. The campus is a partnership between North Memorial and Fairview Health Services in an effort to better serve the northwest metro communities.

About the speaker:

Cindy Bultena 

With a genuine passion for patient care and a commitment to compassionate employee service, Cindy Bultena is using her nursing experience to help fundamentally recreate hospital care for patients and families.  As the former Chief Nursing Officer at Woodwinds Health Campus in Woodbury, Minnesota, Bultena was instrumental in the creation and integration of a holistic patient and family centered care model for Woodwinds’ 86 bed inpatient hospital that opened in August 2000. 

As a result of her leadership and involvement in holistic care, Bultena, has been appointed to the role of Patient Experience Leader for the HealthEast 3 acute care hospitals.   Her role is to advance an exceptional patient experience modeled after the vision of creating the ultimate patient experience at Woodwinds.   Recently that role has been expanded to include the HE system.  Her focus is on creating consistent processes through the use of lead tools to advance the patient experience across the enterprise.  These processes, when carried out by exceptional staff will help fulfill the HealthEast vision of “Optimal Health and Well -being for our Patients, Our Communities and Ourselves.
