Description of event
The Northern Local Program Council of Minnesota ACHE will hold its first networking and educational event with a focus on strategies to succeed in recruitment and retention in greater Minnesota. The event will include an overview of demographics in greater Minnesota and a panel discussion on challenges and solutions to health care workforce recruitment and retention by health care leaders from across region. Each of the panelist participants will introduce themselves as well as identify the top initiatives, processes, changes, etc. that their organizations are doing/going to do as it pertains to the topic. We will then proceed with panel format.
Objectives:
1. Gain knowledge of the benefits of ACHE membership for professional development
2. Discover the demographic trends impacting greater Minnesota health care workforce
3. Learn best practices of regional health care employers in recruitment and retention
