Since 2020 every facet of our society and every sector of the healthcare industry has experienced unprecedented, and often traumatic, change. Personal mastery of emotional and behavioral awareness has never been more important and, when matched with the ability to intentionally develop relationships and lead through change, is vital to success in today’s tidal wave of pressures. Taking an emotionally intelligent approach to developing, engaging, and leading teams through complex change is essential.

This seminar presents participants with an overview of methods to: deepen awareness of their emotions and behaviors; learn state of the art approaches to understanding, managing, and leading change; and discover how to integrate these skills with their leadership toolkit and leadership shadow. A key outcome is increased emotional agility in managing yourself and other relationships.

Increasing your effectiveness in being more fully aware and meaningfully intentional in managing relationships, culture and your leadership shadow may be the most important decision in your career, and the best chance of leading teams through this time of turmoil and burn out.

Seminar Objectives:

  • Consider opportunities to leverage emotional awareness and intentionality in their own work environment and role.
  • Understand new conceptual approaches to leading through change including organizational culture and resiliency.
  • Consider ways to improve your own leadership behaviors in leading through complexity.
  • Introduce tools for planning your personal approach to applying EQ to change and leveraging your leadership shadow.
